You must be wondering why this guide is called Dumb OnePage Guide (DOPG). I have jumped into the Internet trying to do business on the Internet. Starting a business on the Internet is quite easy but there are many sink holes that might suck your energy and resources. I write this DOPG for myself to guide me what should I be doing and stay focus. There are already many business and business affiliates that are available on the Internet These I consider as resources that could enlightened me and hopefully make me successful and you successful too. As you have notices there are no whistles and bells on this DOPG because I want to keep it simple. However, there are advertisement offered. You may understand why when you finish reading this DOPG. If you are in a sink hole somewhere, you will cry for a DOPG for Doing Business on the Internet. Bookmark DOPG NOW. There is another meaning to DOPG, to those folks I sincerely apologizes.

A simple guide for all:

1. There are many resources on the Internet that offers free lessons on Doing Business on the Internet. Some are free but you may have to join as affiliates There are also many e-books that are available on the Internet Used your search engine to search for these free stuffs. Get those free stuff and read it . One free e-book that I have come across is "Dotcomology". These are few sites that offer lessons on doing business on the Internet and when you are more comfortable you might upgrade your status:SFI Affiliates Program,and Leisure Audio Sales Affiliates Program . I could give you a list but it is not the purposed of this DOPG.

2. Doing business is about offering service and products that people requires. Sometimes free but sometimes they are willing to pay for it. If you have your own product it is much better. However don't despair if you do not have your own product. There are many successful business on the Internet offering other people products and in your own backyard you don't have to go very far to find them. Here are a few examples of other people product that might get you started. One you have to buy and the other one you can sell other people product and earn some income:IAHBE, and Leisure Audio Books.

3. When you start your business on the Internet, you need a place where people can pay you, i.e. need an account where funds need to be deposited. A service that is popular is PayPals. Pay Pals uses e-mail account to deposits fund into your account. If your have e-mail than this could be the first start. There are many more options.

4. Many people who have pioneered doing business on the Internet said that "If you are really serious about your business, setup your own website with your own domain". I do not want to justify that statement but you can think about it, or if you insist sleep over it. However, when you have decided that you need your own website and domain these are some of the sites that offers such services: www.hostmonster.com, and www.host4profit.com. 5. Product or services that your are offering need to be introduced to people. Some companies spends millions of their funds to promote their products. Promotion!Promotion!Promotion!... Don't be worried if you have little funds, there are sites that offers free advertisement such as: TrafficSwarm , EasyHits4U , HitPulse , FreeViral, GlobalClicks, and www.classifiedsforfree.com. If you have extrra funds then you may choose to use Google Adwords to advertise your site/s and product/s. Certainly there are many more available options available.

6. Your promotion will hopefully generate many visitors to your websites. Besides providing the information about your product/s you should be providing facilities on web pages so that your potential client can tell you that they want further info or want to purchase your product/s. Client request need to be entertained. This is where autoresponders play their important role. Autoresponders can be program to send automatically information requested based on keywords and at specified interval to pursue the clients. Off course clients can request that they are not to be chased any further. They are many reviews on autoresponders but not going to be repeated here, search the Internet please! If you are really serious about your Internet business, get one. Here are a few examples of autoresponders: Aweber , and GetResponse. There are software that can be used to monitor and keep track of your advertisement and leads such as HyperTracker.

7. I am sure by now you have read a lot of articles and visited many sites. You are more knowledgeable and have some experience. There are sites available on the internet such as investmentjudge.com that monitors scam and they have a blacklist available on their site. Do make a point to visit this site before you invest your resource especially money. You also do a Google search to check whether a site is a scam.
